East Brainerd Elementary's Dr. Martha Young Named Principal Of The Year For Southeast Tennessee

East Brainerd Elementary School Principal Dr. Marthel Young has been named Principal of the Year for Southeast Tennessee.   The honor is given to a school leader each year for outstanding service in education and exceptional leadership that drives overall improvements in his or her school. 

 

As Principal of the Year for East Tennessee, Dr.

Young now advances as a finalist for statewide recognition as Tennessee Principal of the Year which will be announced at a banquet in Nashville on Oct. 4.

 

Senator Todd Gardenhire said, “Congratulations to Dr. Young and the Hamilton County Schools on this tremendous honor,

 

"What Dr. Young has accomplished at East Brainerd Elementary is remarkable.  This honor recognizes the positive influence she has had on so many lives.”
