County Elected Officials Will Be Sworn Into Office On Tuesday

Hamilton County elected officials will be sworn into office on Tuesday.

It will be held at 9 a.m. at the Convention Center.

New members of the County Commission are Katherlyn Geter, Chip Baker and David Sharpe.

Marc Gravitt, former state representative, is the new register of deeds.

Going back into office will be commission members Randy Fairbanks, Sabrena Smedley, Warren Mackey, Tim Boyd, Chester Bankston and Greg Martin.

Returning officeholders also include County Mayor Jim Coppinger, County Clerk Bill Knowles, Trustee Bill Hullander, Juvenile Court Clerk Gary Behler, Sheriff Jim Hammond, Criminal Court Clerk Vince Dean and Circuit Court Clerk Larry Henry.

Kyle Hedrick is the new Circuit Court judge, Division IV.
