Man Shot On Coffee Road In Bradley County Is OK; Suspect Is Interviewed And Then Released

A man who was shot in Bradley County on Monday night and taken to a Chattanooga hospital was treated and released.

A man who was taken into custody in the incident on Coffee Road has been let go. 

Officials said the shooting victim, Joshua Nation, 31, had non-life threatening injuries.  

The suspect, Ronnie Carter , 42, was questioned by deputies and released.

Authorities said, "After consulting with the District Attorney’s office, this case will be presented to a grand jury pending the completion of an ongoing investigation.
 No charges are being pressed at this time."
