Ione Sells
Ione “Onie” Pigford Sells, 69, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018.
She was the daughter of the late L. C. “Cuss” and Lucille Saxon Pigford and was preceded in death by her sister, Lynn Pigford Green.
Onie was a graduate of Brainerd High School and had worked for the Children’s Advocacy Center. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her three children, James Michael (Genevieve) Housley, Matthew Lavelle Housley, Annie Sells, all of Chattanooga, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a brother, Toby C. Pigford.
The family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel.
