Bridgett Dallas
Bridgett Dallas has been named Life Enrichment Director at Legacy Village of Cleveland, a premier assisted living and memory care community serving Bradley County that is scheduled to open October 2018.
The Life Enrichment Program will cultivate a fun, active community for residents through social, educational, spiritual, recreational, and hands-on activities.
Ms. Dallas began her 28-year career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the American Red Cross. More recently, she served four years as a lifestyle director for a Chattanooga area senior living facility and 8 years as a billing coordinator at Life Care Home Health/Affinity Hospice of Life in Cleveland. She has given many years of service at Cleveland Community Hospital, Bradley Memorial Hospital, Chattanooga Pain Clinic and a number of private practices in various medical and service roles.
Ms. Dallas’ life enrichment program will offer Legacy’s residents the opportunity to learn and explore their own individual stories, passions, and needs by engaging in social activities and creating new friendships.
“Bridgett’s passion for impacting the lives of seniors is positively infectious. Her energy, enthusiasm, and relationship-building skills will be central in making Legacy Village of Cleveland one of the most socially, physically and spiritually enriching senior communities in Bradley County,” Shannon Alvey, executive director of Legacy Village of Cleveland, said.
Ms. Dallas describes her work as a ministry, pledging to serve well everyone in the Legacy Village of Cleveland community. She sees her life mission as inspiring those in her care.
“As persons age and health begins to fail, it can be easy for them to wonder if they still have a purpose in life. I believe through an active life enrichment program, every resident can re-establish or enhance his or her purpose,” Ms. Dallas said.
Ms. Dallas has served as an outreach ministry leader in her church, an inspirational speaker and a one-on-one mentor to Cleveland area women through Times of Refreshing, a ladies conference she established in 2000. She recently published her first book, The Feet of a Child, The Walk of a Woman, an autobiographical book of hope.
“Bridgett has dedicated her life to serving others and helping them discern what they’re passionate about. It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together, and Bridgett is a perfect example of that,” Alvey said.
Ms. Dallas attended Cleveland State Community College and currently resides in Cleveland with Kelley, her husband of 28 years. They have a daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.
