CDOT Announces Updates On Washington Hills Road Closures

  • Monday, September 24, 2018

The upcoming roadwork in the Washington Hills neighborhood has been delayed due to rain.

Weather permitting, the work to install a pavement treatment on on Irvin Road, Upshaw Drive and Lois Lane will occur on Oct. 3, 4, and 5, with Oct. 6 as an additional rain delay date.

Roadways effected will be Irvin Road, Upshaw Drive and Lois Lane, but access to other roads in the area may be restricted during the duration of this work.

Segments of these streets will be closed to all traffic from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.  Streets may open earlier as the treatment dries.  Residents will not be able to drive on or across these streets until the treatment dries.  Residents will need to park outside of the work area and the contractor will provide transportation with golf carts between residences and vehicles.

See CDOT's map of event and road closures for the street segment closure dates to plan parking arrangements.
