Upcoming Street Closings Announced

Here are upcoming street closings:

Monday:

W 8th Street will be closed in between Pine Street and Chestnut Street from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for crane work to a building.

Local detours will be posted. 

Thursday:

Vintage Market Days of Chattanooga - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the skate park lot to W 19th Street. The closures will be on Thursday, from 5-11 p.m. Friday, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Friday:

US Bicycle Route 21 - The 2018 US Bicycle Route 21 ride will be coming through Chattanooga on Friday. No roads will be closed for the ride. Cyclists will remain on the Tennessee Riverwalk until exiting onto St. Elmo Ave where they will continue to ride with traffic, following the rules of the road.

West Village Out on 8th  - W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 2 p.m. on FridayThis closure will be in effect each Friday night through Oct. 27.

Saturday:

West Village Street Festivals Pine Street between W 7th Street and W M.L. King Blvd, and 
W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 8 a.m. until midnight each Saturday through Jan. 19, 2019

Sunday:

McBarton Ironman Support Party - McFarland Ave. will be closed between Barton Ave. and Young Ave. on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m. until midnight for the McBarton Ironman Support Block Party. 

Chattanooga Market - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. each Sunday through Nov. 18.
