Brian Salter
A service will take place on Sunday to install Brian Salter as the new lead pastor of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. During the same service, current senior teaching pastor Joe Novenson will be installed as pastor of senior adults.
Mr. Novenson, who has led the pastoral team since 1996, will remain as full time pastor and continue in theSunday morning preaching rotation.
All are invited to the service which will take place at 6 p.m. in the LMPC sanctuary. A reception will follow.
Mr. Salter came to LMPC in 2006 as pastor of adult discipleship, having previously worked with Campus Crusade for Christ in East Asia as well as on the University of Georgia campus. He received his bachelor's degree in education from the University of Georgia in 1997 and his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando, in 2006. In 2014 he became pastor of mission and vision before the congregation elected him in 2017 to become the new lead pastor effective Oct. 1.
