Eli Marty of Martin Methodist (Tenn.) was named SSAC Men's Golfer of the Week and Cameron Daniel of Dalton State (Ga.) was named SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. The awards are based on performance for the week of Sept. 17-23.
Eli Marty (Martin Methodist – SR – Cullman, Ala.)
Marty and the RedHawks competed in their first tournament of the year at the Riley Moore Collegiate Cup
He won the event with a five-over 75, while the RedHawks also won
Cameron Daniel (Dalton State – FR – Sharpsburg, Ga.)
Daniel competed in her first tournament with the Roadrunners at the Keiser Cup
She finished sixth with a 12-over 228 (74, 76, 78), while Dalton State placed third
