It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra Lee White Pell, 74, announces her passing this past Thursday, September 20, 2018.

Born Aug. 18, 1944, Sandra was a Chattanooga native and worked in accounts receivable/payable for the food service industry for over 40 years. Sandra also spent time working alongside her daughter at her daughter’s downtown coffee shop, Main and Mocha, now closed.

Known for her Red Velvet Cakes and her extremely green thumb, Sandra loved spending time with her family and rarely passed up an opportunity to travel, especially by cruise ship. She had many hobbies including cooking, gardening, working crossword puzzles and making jewelry.

Sandra is survived by her brother, Stan White and his wife, Paula; her son Derik Pell and his partner, Moon; her daughter, Shawna Lewis and her husband, Karl; and her four beloved grandchildren, Connor Louisell, Gabriel Pell, Lilly Mae Lewis, and Harrison Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Beatrice White.

Services will be on Friday, Sept. 28, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with Terry Boyd officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, prior to the funeral service.
