The Health/Nursing Ministry at Olivet Baptist Church, 740 ML King Blvd. will host a “Celebrating Breast Cancer Survivors“ event on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Kingdom Center starting at 11 am.
October is National.Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Mrs. Elizabeth Cooper, a breast cancer survivor, will be the featured speaker. There will be music by The Surles Sisters and a special guest as well as other engaging activities.
The Memorial Mammogram Coach will be on site that same date performing screening mammograms. Call 423-495-4040 to schedule an appointment for the mammogram.
Worship in Pink will be observed Sunday, Oct. 14.
