Baylor Soccer Ties Kentucky Powerhouse Greenwod 0-0

Baylor played the #50 team in the nation in Greenwood High School (KY) on the last day of the Thoroughbred Cup in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on Sunday.

The game ended in a 0-0 tie  

"I was very pleased with the weekend overall," Head coach Curtis Blair said.  "We played three very good teams and came out 1-1-1 overall. We had another player get hurt on Friday, but our players have done a great job of stepping up and supporting each other. We ended up with two shut-outs and gave up 1 goal the entire weekend."

Baylor out shot Greenwood 7-3 and Peyton Randolph finished with 2 saves.

Marilyn Lloyd, who represented the Third District in Congress for 10 terms, has died at the age of 89.
