Weapon Confiscated At Red Bank School On Wednesday

A student at Red Bank High School reported to personnel at the school that another student had a weapon at school on Wednesday. 

 

The Red Bank school resource officer and administration moved quickly to locate the student, and the student was found to be in possession of a weapon. 

 

The student in possession of the firearm was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.

 

The student was charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds and theft/possession of stolen property. 

 

Officials said, "The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department has the situation under investigation at this time and has control of investigation details.

 

"There was increased law enforcement and administrative presence at Red Bank High School Wednesday afternoon as an additional precautionary measure."
