The Karen Collins “Un-Teal” There is a Cure foundation is hosting three events in 2019 to raise money for ovarian cancer research.
"Ovarian cancer is one of the most underfunded areas in cancer research, and yet over 22,000 women will be diagnosed this year alone," organizers said. "Fundraising to find a cure for ovarian cancer is the cornerstone of this organization. We are passionate about not only raising money for research but also educating women about the dangers and signs of ovarian cancer."
2019 events are:
• Friday, May 17 - 7th Annual Take Aim “Un-Teal” There is a Cure Sporting Clays Event held at Benton Sporting Clays.
• Saturday, Sept. 14 – Double Down “Un-Teal” There is a Cure Casino Night held at Stratton Hall.
• Friday, Sept. 27 - 8th Annual Tee Off “Un-Teal” There is a Cure Golf Tournament held at Bear Trace Golf Course.
