Police have arrested Bionca Menyon Buchanan in a case in which a man said he showed up to buy some puppies and wound up getting robbed.

Ms. Buchanan, 26, of 2513 Judson Lane, was charged with aggravated robbery.

A man told police he went to a location near the Brainerd Walmart to buy a pitbull puppy for $1,500 from a woman he knew only as NBA Blondii. He said a friend gave him her information and said she does sell puppies.

He said she showed up in a gray newer-model Nissan with dark tinted windows. He got into the front passenger seat.

He said he was in the car for about a minute when a black male got into the back seat. The man put a gun in his face and pushed him against the dashboard. He said the gunman demanded his money, so he handed him the $1,500.

He said the man then left without taking anything from NBA Blondii. He said the woman said she knew the gunman, but would not say who he was. He said he and a woman who had driven with him to the location got into a disorder with NBA Blondii and she left.

The robbery victim said he had seen the gunman on NBA Blondii's Snapchat. He was described as a black male, 25-30 years of age, about six feet tall and 180 pounds, with neck and arm tattoos and a low haircut.

Police were able to get an ID for NBA Blondii as Bionca Buchanan. The victim identified her as the woman he met.
