Randall James Allen
On Monday the Cleveland Police Department was notified of two black bags on the Greenway near 20th Street and Parker Street.
Officers responded and located multiple cameras in the bags with identifying markings from Bradley County Schools.
They then went to Ocoee Middle School which is nearby and located an open door on a classroom and boxes matching some of the cameras in the bags.
The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives then responded to the scene, which is a county school, and collected video and forensic evidence.
During the investigation, detectives were able to identify Randall James Allen as the person responsible for the burglary.
On Wednesday, detectives made contact with him at his residence and he admitted to taking the items from inside the classroom. He was taken into custody and charged with burglary and theft over $1,000.
All stolen property has been returned to the school.
