Longtime Purchasing Agent With TVA Was Volunteer At Memorial Hospital For Many Years

Frances W. Hannah-Collins, 80, of Ringgold went home to be with Jesus on July 11, 2019.

 

She was a loving and faithful wife, mother, nana, aunt, and friend.

 

Frances retired from TVA after 30 years of service as a purchasing agent. She was a faithful member of Ringgold First Baptist Church for 41 years, and volunteered at Memorial Hospital for 25 years.

 

She had a love for traveling, shopping, and spending precious time with her family.

 

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Floyd Wiggins and her late husband, Kenneth B. Hannah.

 

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Sherman E. Collins; daughters, Kay Hannah Jetton (Sterling), Karen Hannah Willis (Dave); grandsons, Andrew Jetton and Stephen Jetton; brother, Jim Wiggins (Brenda), and several nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday prior to the service at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.

 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Sterling Jetton and Reverend Eric Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens, Ringgold.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Starting Point International, 3012 Stepping Rock Drive, Apison, Tn. 37302 or the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
