Chattanooga Police said the incident in which one man was killed and two others injured at an apartment near the UTC campus involved shots being fired through a locked door.

Police have arrested both suspects involved in the fatal shooting Sunday.

Omerrieal Woods was apprehended Monday evening by the Chattanooga Police Department's Fugitive Unit with assistance from the United States Marshal Service and East Ridge Police Department.

Woods, 29, is charged with facilitation of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder. He is in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.

Toddie Woods, who is the brother of Omerrieal Woods, who was wanted for first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder, turned himself in to the County Jail on Tuesday.

Police said they were called out at 3:48 a.m. on a report of multiple persons shot.  Police found Jose Garcia-Lopez with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and Miguel Pimentel with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Rigoberto Jarquin was dead on the apartment floor with multiple gunshot wounds.

A detective who came to the scene was shown video.  He said he observed multiple black males trying to force entry into apartment 240.

The detective said the video showed Omerrieal Woods leave the group and walk down the hall.  Toddie Woods is then met by his brother, who hands him a gun.

The video then shows Toddie Woods walk through the group and fire multiple rounds through the door of apartment 240.

The Woods brothers then fled the scene.

Toddie Woods is a 5'10", 170 pound black male with brown eyes and black hair.

Police said, "If anyone has seen or knows the whereabouts of Toddie Woods please call the Homicide Tip Line at 423-643-5100 immediately. Woods is considered armed and dangerous."

Rigoberto Jarquin, 25, was killed and two others were shot in the incident at the Douglas Heights Apartments at 930 Douglas St.

Omerrieal Woods was arrested May 31 to face a federal indictment on gun and drug charges.

The indictment said he was caught with a weapon while dealing in marijuana sales.

At a detention hearing before Magistrate Judge Chris Steger, Woods was allowed to be released under conditions.

He was in the news in 2010 when he was wounded during a drive-by shooting.
