Chattanooga State improved its record to 4-1 Monday evening with a 3-0 volleyball victory over Covenant College JV at home.
The Lady Tigers, behind the efforts of Ricki Lynn Bickley, won in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-16 and 25-9. Bickley had 11 kills, two aces and five digs.
Dakota Rawiszer and Emily Redden contributed with 22 and 15 assists, respectively. Rawiszer knocked down four aces, as well.
According to head coach Janet Tate, “Everyone played well tonight, with multiple players contributing to the offense . Our defense was solid and overall a great team effort.”
Chattanooga State travels to Walters State on Friday for a region matchup.
