Bridgette Alexis Payne
A woman authorities said was driving as fast as 100 mph on Rossville Boulevard was finally caught at MLK Boulevard in Chattanooga.
The chase of Bridgette Alexis Payne, 24, of Rossville, was begun by the Georgia State Patrol.
The Tennessee State Patrol took up the pursuit of the red Chrysler 2000 after she crossed into Tennessee on Highway 27.
Ms. Payne was charged with speeding, reckless driving, felony evading arrest, violating the seat belt law and having no insurance.
She also faces a charge of carrying a dangerous weapon.
Charges against her are pending in Georgia.
She was placed under a $5,000 bond at the Hamilton County Jail.
