Chase Through Harrison Subdivisions Ends With An Arrest On I-75

A chase that began in Harrison early Wednesday afternoon ended with a stop on I-75 and one arrest.

At approximately 1 p.m, while on routine patrol, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office deputies received a call for a suspicious vehicle on Blackberry Court. Two deputies responded to the call and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued.

The chase entered several residential areas in Harrison before traveling onto Hunter Road where the suspect vehicle struck a civilian vehicle at Lee Highway and Hunter Road.

From there the suspect vehicle proceeded to I-75 and once on the freeway, the vehicle stopped and two suspects were detained. One of those in the car was arrested.
