Georgia Records 71 More Coronavirus Deaths; Has 4,445 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Saturday there have been an additional 71 deaths due to the coronavirus. The new total is 4,186.

There were 4,445 new cases as that total reached 213,427 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 20,556 - up 274 since Friday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 631 cases, up 22; 9 deaths; 54 hospitalizations, up 2

Chattooga County: 255 cases, up 14; 3 deaths; 11 hospitalizations, up 2

Dade County: 125 cases, up 3; 1 death; 7 hospitalizations, up 1

Walker County: 684 cases, up 26; 17 deaths; 32 hospitalizations, up 1

Whitfield County: 3,496 cases, up 77; 29 deaths; 174 hospitalizations, up 2

The cases remain centered around the Atlanta area:

Cobb County: 13,336 cases; 319 deaths

DeKalb County: 13,752 cases; 237 deaths

Fulton County: 20,049 cases; 430 deaths

Gwinnett County: 19,548 cases; 260 deaths
