Pauline Lott Burke, 89, peacefully transitioned from her earthly body on September 13, 2020. 

She faithfully attended Olivet Baptist Church, until her health failed.  Pauline retired from Pilgrim’s Pride and Chattanooga Foster Grandparents, where she was known lovingly as “Granny B”. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Herman and Emma Strickland Lott; husband, Charles Burke, Sr.; sons, Charles Jr. and Anthony Burke; granddaughter, Jamecia Starkey; eight brothers and seven sisters. 

She is survived by her loving children, Jacqueline Hinton, Sharon Burke, Broderick (Bobbie) Burke, Lynda Burke and Brenda (Spencer) Jones; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 

No formal viewing or visitation is planned.  Private family graveside services will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. 

Special thanks to The Bridge in South Pittsburg and Hospice of Kimball for their love and dedication for her care. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
