Howard LeSure
Howard “Buster” LeSure, 41, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in a local hospital.
He was a 1998 graduate of Howard High School and received his associate's degree from Virginia College. Howard was a member of New Emmanuel Baptist Church where he was the Media Man and changed the Marquee.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Minnie Maude Brown Chapel, Effie Maude Strong, and Helen Roebuck; grandfather, Howard Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Shandal LeSure; sons, Deveron Scoville and Freddie Cohens, III; father, Eddie (Wilma) LeSure; mother, Cynthia Chapel; brother, Edwin LeSure, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Chappell (Jeremy) Finch of Chattanooga and Krystain (Nicholas) Bryant of Nashville; uncles, Vincent Roebuck, Reginald Browdley, Robert Butts, all of Chattanooga, Walter (Delores) Roebuck, and John Roebuck, Jr., both of Detroit, MI; aunts, Regina Browdley, Vernessia (Reginald) Lattimore, Forestine Bryant, all of Chattanooga, Brenda Jackson, Patricia Walker, both of Atlanta, GA, and Tawanna Kirk of Smithfield, VA; a host of other relatives and friends.
Howard will lie in state on Friday, Dec. 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Willie Paul as the eulogist.
