Loved Spending Time With Her Grandchildren, Shopping, And Traveling

Frances Carol Boatwright, 79, of Rossville passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at a local hospital. 

 

Mrs. Boatwright was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, she loved the holidays, shopping, and sitting on the balcony watching the ocean.

 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Johnston; son, Jeffery Boatwright; brothers, Gene and Junior Rapier; and sisters, Mary and Midge.

 

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Aubrey “Orb” Boatwright; two children, Greg and Tim Boatwright; brothers, Tommy and James Rapier; sister, Nancy Clarke; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Brian Carroll officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until the Funeral Hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville.
