Kenneth Keef
Kenneth Delano Keef, 87, of Red Bank, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021.
Ken was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he attended Chattanooga Central High School before joining the United States Air Force in 1952. Upon leaving the Air Force, he began working at Combustion Engineering as a boilermaker and retired after 30 years of service. Throughout his life, he enjoyed many hobbies including weight lifting, fishing, bowling, gardening, playing checkers, coaching baseball, watching his grandchildren play baseball and softball, and watching the Tennessee Vols and Atlanta Braves.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Keef, and mother, Ruth Good Keef; one brother and four sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Condra Burris; son Shawn (Julie); and grandchildren, Misty Dent, Brayden Keef, and Addison Keef; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 15, at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor James Buttram, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the chapel service.
