Georgia Reports 22 More COVID Deaths And 1,175 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Thursday there have been 22 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 25,768.

There are 1,175 new cases on Thursday, as that total reaches 1,287,554 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 89,717, which is an increase of 150 since Wednesday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 8,604 cases, up 11; 97 deaths; 316 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 3,736 cases, up 3; 91 deaths; 258 hospitalizations

Dade County: 1,858 cases, up 4; 18 deaths; 70 hospitalizations

Walker County: 9,824 cases, up 10; 123 deaths; 372 hospitalizations

Whitfield County: 19,490, up 5; 325 deaths; 955 hospitalizations, up 1
