How To Avoid Marrying A Jerk Classes Begin Wednesday
posted January 22, 2007

Dr. John Van Epp, author of the book “How To Avoid Marrying A Jerk,” believes he can help singles avoid getting trapped in those emotionally painful dating pitfalls by following a few simple rules designed to help individuals see beyond the rose colored glasses.

First Things First presents “How To Avoid Marrying A Jerk”, a class, based on Dr. Van Epp’s book, which walks participants through the development of trust, its relationship to intimacy, and maximizing the potential of finding “the one” by giving the tools to focus on the crucial characteristics of trust in a loving, lasting relationship.

The classes will take place each Wednesday from Jan. 24 through Feb. 21 at the First Things First office at 620 Lindsay Street from 4:30-6 p.m. Dinner will be served.

The cost is free. Registration is required. Free food is provided and class participants are eligible for door prizes.

To register, call First Things First at (423) 267-5383 or visit www.firstthings.org.
