Are you looking for someone that enjoys the same outdoor activities as you? Come, celebrate our rich Outdoor Heritage with an exposition of hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Saturday, February 3, 2007 -- 12 Noon – 6 PM.
Outdoor enthusiasts such as the Boy Scouts, Ducks Unlimited, Quality Deer Management Association, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will join the Cherokee Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and many others for an informative afternoon which will help you find an outdoor activity that you will enjoy for years to come.
Several outdoor retailers, outfitters, and sporting goods providers will be on hand to help you pursue your outdoor dreams with advise and the right equipment.
Admission to the Expo is FREE.
A Hummer H3 will be raffled off, with $10,000 of the proceeds going to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency for start up costs for an Area Manager on the Ocoee District of the Cherokee National Forest. The Ocoee District offers over 100,000 acres of beautiful rivers, streams and mountainous public land just minutes away from Chattanooga for your enjoyment. An effective TWRA Area Manager will help ensure this vast last land produces a healthy forest and wildlife for years to come.
The National Wild Turkey Federation has been a leader in conservation management since 1973 and provides opportunities for the entire family to get involved in America’s great outdoor heritage through its programs to the disabled community (Wheelin’ Sportsmen), kids (JAKES), and to Women in the Outdoors.
