Corker’s Washington And State Offices “Up and Running, Ready to Serve”
posted March 13, 2007

Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) announced that his Washington office has moved out of temporary space and into its permanent location in Suite 185 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

All of Sen. Corker’s seven offices – the Washington office and the state offices in Memphis, Jackson, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville and the Tri-Cities – are up and running and fully ready to serve Tennesseans.

“I think we’ve made a lot of progress over the past ten weeks in office, getting staff in place and our offices up and running,” said Sen. Corker. “We have a great staff, committed to serving the citizens of our state and addressing the issues Tennesseans care deeply about.”

Since January 4, Sen. Corker’s staff has operated out of a temporary office in the basement of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. His new Washington office is located on the first floor of the Dirksen building, just three floors down from Sen. Lamar Alexander’s office, which is located on the fourth floor of Dirksen.

“I believe our location on the first floor of the Dirksen building will make it convenient for Tennesseans to visit us and to travel between our office and Sen. Alexander’s,” he added. “I hope that Tennesseans will visit us in our Washington office and in our six offices across the state.”
