Twin brothers have been charged with assault after they allegedly got into it with a man who was dating their sister.
In the incident on Raulston Street, Patrick Jackson said he was sleeping with Demond and Desmond Clay came in the house.
He said he was pulled out of bed to talk about the fact he had allegedly drunk all their mother's liquor the night before.
He said one of the brothers got him in a headlock and forced him down on a chair and the other brother began beating him in the head and neck.
He said he got free and all three began throwing chairs and other items at each other.
He said he was finally able to get out the back door.
The Clay twins were in the news last April when one of them was shot at a car wash after they got into an argument.
Police said 15-20 shots were fired during that incident in East Chattanooga.
Demond Clay was shot in the leg after he and his brother, Desmond Clay, argued with two other men.
Reshondra Mason of Wilson Street said her boyfriend (and the father of two of her children and one on the way) came to her house drunk and began urinating on her while she was sleeping.
She said Tracy Goodwin argued with her, then began choking her and hitting her on the side of her face.
Police said she had a large buise and a cut on her neck.
Goodwin was charged with assault.
Larry Watts said he was asleep when Roy Dunn kicked in the door to his residence on Highway 153.
He said Dunn took his wallet and cell phone before he could get up and go after him.
He said Dunn dropped the wallet when he was being pursued.
Police said they found the door lying on the floor.
Dunn was charged with aggravated burglary, vandalism and theft under $500.
Officers were called to the Highland Tire Center on Hixson Pike to check out a report of noise in the storage area.
Officers spotted a rat crawling along a shelf.
Police answered a suicide call on Bonny Oaks Drive.
The young man in question told them he was not contemplating taking his own life because "he was too handsome and too talented to even think of killing himself."
At Shallowford Village Drive there was a report of a white male wearing a green coat and hat looking into cars.
Police located the suspect, and Ross Walker (homeless and just arrived from Murfreesboro) said he was just looking at the mirrors to make sure his hair was OK.
