Congressman Zach Wamp is listed among the speakers at the first Draft Fred Thompson Rally.
The event is set for April 28 in Cookeville.
The rally is "a purely grassroots effort that will bring Fred Thompson fans from several states together in Cookeville," officials said.
Radio host Steve Gill is also among the confirmed speakers.
The rally is not connected to any campaign, it was stated.
