Sentencing Set July 26 For Brother, Sister In Bank Fraud Case posted April 25, 2007 Sentencing is set July 26 for a brother and sister who pleaded guilty before Magistrate Bill Carter to bank fraud. Prosecutors said Darren Todd Moyer and Jennifer Moyer Henson, of Baltic Mortgage Company, defrauded Indymac Bank of Pasadena, Calif., by filing false HUD settlement papers. The sales prices and down payments were misrepresented in order to be able to borrow more money, it was stated. Another Baltic employee, Phillip Howard McKinnish, pleaded guilty earlier. He is to be sentenced on June 7. Prosecutors said Executive Title was also in on the fraud. Executive Title officials Donovan Barnes-Bass and Marie Byrd pleaded guilty earlier. Judge Curtis Collier will set the sentences in the cases. |
