Lookout Rowing Club of Chattanooga medaled in every event entered at the Oak Ridge Dogwood Regatta on Sunday.
The 1,000-meter course on Melton Lake hosted 41 teams and 271 entries from all over the South.
In the Mixed Open 2x event, a field of seven entries, Lookout’s crews took home two medals: Stacy Piasecki and Scott Niznik claimed second closely followed by Megan Hanewald and Jim Crichton in third.
The Mixed 4+ of Jeremy Green, Jim Pickens, Darren Self, Lisa Flores and Kiersten Wilkins took a strong second.
Lookout took third in both flights of the Men’s Master 1x event with Mark Kinsman in Flight 1 and Jim Crichton in Flight 3.
The Women’s Master 1x with Megan Hanewald won second.
The Men’s Master 2x of Jeremy Green and Justin Wilkins took third.
In the last race of the day - a close race of the Mixed Open 8+ event - Lookout claimed second with a final time of 3:35.19 – just two seconds behind first and three seconds ahead of third. The crew included Kiersten Wilkins, Stacy Piasecki, Lisa Flores, Karen Gabor, Ryan Hall, Jim Pickens, Jeremy Green, Scott Niznik and Justin Wilkins.
