2 Others Seriously Hurt On O'Grady Drive

A 21-year-old man was killed in a single-car wreck in Lookout Valley early Saturday morning.
Chattanooga Police traffic investigators were called to the scene at 1000 O’Grady Dr. about 4:30 a.m.
According to witnesses, Arlen Shane Chapman 21, was driving a 1992 Pontiac Firebird at a high rate of speed. The vehicle went out of control, skidded off the roadway and struck a fence.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
There were two other passengers who were taken to the hospital and treated for serious injuries.
Alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the fatality, police said.
