Chattanooga Christian Girls Earn Berth In A-AA Team Tennis Final CCS Beats USJ, 4-0 by Stan Crawley posted May 22, 2007
In the other Spring Fling A-AA girls semifinal, David Lipscomb defeated Christian Academy of Knoxville, 4-1. CCS will play David Lipscomb for the state championship Wednesday at 9 a.m. central time at the Middle Tennessee State University Courts. Winning singles matches for the CCS girls were Brittney McBrayer, Ashlyn Bolton, Holly Schnoll and Claire Henley. "We played some really tough matches,'' CCS coach Sue Webb said. "We played well as a team. We encouraged each other, but we still focused on our own matches. "It was good we didn't have to go to doubles so we could conserve some energy for tomorrow.''
