Fatal Cleveland Fire Broke Out In Living Room posted July 26, 2007 A fire that claimed the lives of two children on Wednesday morning at an apartment complex in Cleveland broke out in the living room of one unit. The victims were 10-month-old Anthony Queen and 3-year-old Travis Hyatt. The mother of the children, 23-year-old Charlene Hyatt, and her two-year-old daughter, Callie, suffered burns. The fire broke out shortly before 11 a.m. at apartments at Sixth and Poplar streets. That is just off Benton Pike. The cause of the blaze was being investigated. There were no working smoke detectors in the residence, officials said. It is the fourth recent fire death in Cleveland. |
