The American Lung Association of Tennessee will host the first annual LungFest and FunWalk on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Tennessee Aquarium. This fund-raising event will help support the American Lung Association® of Southeast TN and statewide programs & services for those affected by various lung diseases (asthma, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, etc.) that impact one out of every eight Tennesseans.
A kickoff for the LungFest and FunWalk will be Thursday at 5:45 p.m. at Studio 2 Art Center, 1426 Williams St., #12. A portion of any art purchased the evening of the kickoff will go to the American Lung Association of Tennessee.

LungFest activities and booths open at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Aquarium. FunWalk registration begins at 5:30 p.m. where participants can turn in their funds and enjoy the activities. The FunWalk begins at 6:30 p.m. through the Tennessee Aquarium.
Walkers who raise $100 in pledges will receive the official LungFest and FunWalk T-shirt. Walkers who can’t turn in at least $100, are asked for a personal donation of $25 to cover entry into the Tennessee Aquarium.
