Blood Assurance CEO Donates 1967 Ford Mustang

In 1967, a new Ford Mustang was driven off the lot at Lawrence-Doster Motor Company by a young future assistant administrator at Erlanger Medical Center who understood the importance of a non-profit community blood center. Now, 40 years later that young man, Leonard Fant, is the CEO and president of the area’s regional blood center, Blood Assurance, and he is giving away his refurbished 1967 Ford Mustang to one lucky winner.

From now until Saturday, Sept. 29, people can register to win the 1967 California Special Mustang at any Blood Assurance center or on any bloodmobile.

Then on Saturday, Oct. 13 Blood Assurance will select the winner at the UTC homecoming festivities.

“I hope the person that wins it is at the homecoming game is as thrilled to get it as I am to give it away,” Mr. Fant said.

Officials said, "The Mustang has been completely refurbished and is ready for its new owner. So stop by your local Blood Assurance center, give the gift of life and enter for your chance to win this classic. Remember every donation can save up to three people’s lives."
