When Is Insurance Fraud The Right Thing To Do? - And Response
posted October 23, 2007

In the private sector if I were to try to defraud an insurance company and if I were to be caught, I would be looking at a policy cancelation or perhaps even criminal charges. How could committing fraud be the right thing to do?

I would like to have the insurance that is provided the city employees. Put me on the payroll too, I will hand my pay back to the city just as long as I can have that great insurance the taxpayers are providing the city employees.

The right thing to do is to serve the citizens of the city which is why he was elected. This only serves Ms. Rutherford who has already defrauded the citizens of the city enough. To say that it will not cost the city(taxpayers) anything is baloney. If Mr. Littlefield had ever run a company in the private sector he would be well aware of how group plans work and how the pooled insurance premium is calculated,

Amen, brother. There are plenty of people in this great city of ours who do not have health insurance and would love to have the mayor as their friend.

I would like to see Mayor Littlefield explain his actions face to face with those honest, hard working men and women who do not have health insurance.

I am sorry about the predicament that Ms. Rutherford is in. However, she put herself there by cheating. There are consequences for our actions, or at least there should be.
