Parks, Laura Annette posted January 10, 2008 Laura Annette Parks, 38 of Ringgold, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at her home. Laura was a lifelong resident of the area, and she was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann (York) Taylor, grandmother, Mary Margaret York, father and mother-in-law, George & Linda Parks. She is survived by her husband of ten years, Terry Steven Parks; father, Bill Taylor; children, Stephen Anthony and James Allan Parks, Dustin Lee Watkins, Lucas Obediah Parks; siblings, James H. Griffin, Elizabeth R. Jackson, Deborah L. Grant, Brent C. Jones; nieces and nephews, Christopher and Hannah Jones, Steven A. Cooke, Morgan Grant, Lakita, James C., and James N. Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday in the chapel with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Her family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Friday, all day Saturday, and prior to the service Sunday. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. |
