As past president of the Highland Park Neighborhood Association, Mr. Charles Shaw was instrumental in helping transform Highland Park from a neglected war zone to the neighborhood of choice that it is today. Many years were spent working to reduce crime and to hold the city accountable for its actions toward our neighborhood. Later, the opening of his business spurred more commercial development in the area.
Today, I feel that this is something that Mr. Shaw can bring to District 6. With years of experience in neighborhood revitalization, law enforcement and working with city government, he is more than capable of meeting the demands of the district.
Please vote Charles Shaw for Chattanooga City Council District 6.

How does one choose the appropriate representative for District 6? It is not always the one who is formally educated that will serve the people the best; but one who has passion and time to commit to representing the people. It is not always the one who speaks to having vision and strategy; but the one who has a proven record of action and execution on their strategy.
Charles Shaw is that person. He has a record of achievement and change. He has a record of working with people to get things done. He was one of the catalysts for change in Highland Park and established great working relationships with his community and the city. He is a leader who is not afraid to stand up for what the people want. He is a successful business owner who had a dream and made it happen. He is caring, honest and committed.
I know this about him since I have been married to Charles over 29 years. He is the right person to affect positive change in District 6.
