A 40-year-old man died in a fire at 4519 Woodland Dr. on Thursday night.
The victim was identified as Charles Scott Foster.
Authorities said he died of smoke inhalation.
Preliminary findings indicate that a small child may have been the one who started the fire.
At 7:40 p.m. a call came into the Hamilton County dispatch advising that smoke was coming from the residence at that address.
The Tri–Community Fire Department responded and found the home engulfed in flames. It took firefighters approximately 30 minutes to extinguish the fire.
When fire personnel conducted a walk through of the residence, the victim's body was found inside.
