Lee University and American Idol alumnus Phil Stacey will be performing on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 10:40 a.m. in the university's chapel service. He will be performing songs off his upcoming album, including the hit "If You Didn't Love Me," announced to debut this April.

Mr. Stacey graduated from Lee, along with his wife Kendra, in 2002. While at Lee, he was president of the Lee Singers and was also involved in smaller ensemble, Second Edition. After Lee, Mr. Stacey joined the Navy's music program and became the vocal soloist of the band Pride. It was with the military's support that Mr. Stacey decided to audition for the 2007 season of American Idol, where he made it to the top six.

After the season ended, Mr. Stacey went on to tour with the top 10 from the show and then went on to be signed by Lyric Street Records with artists such as Josh Gracin and Rascal Flatts. Mr. Stacey has moved his family to Nashville where he is working on his debut album with producer Wayne Kirkpatrick.

This event is free and open to the public.
