Pink Bandana Ball Set For May 3
posted March 4, 2008

The Pink Bandana Ball, a hoe-down fundraiser to benefit Emily’s Power for a Cure Neuroblastoma Fund, is set for May 3 at First Tennessee Pavilion.

There are 600-700 children diagnosed each year with neuroblasoma, a childhood cancer that affects the nervous system, with only a 30% survival rate. There are currently six families in Chattanooga battling this disease. Emily Ransom was two-years-old when the disease took her life.

The fund raises money and awareness for research for a cure and to help those families fighting the disease.

The fundraiser will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at Front Runner in Hixson and Galleries at Southside downtown, and at www.emilyspowerforacure.com.

The evening will include live music by Love, Peace & Happiness, Libations, BBQ dinner by The Butt Stop, casino games, Bodacious live and silent auction, mechanical bull, mine for gems and more.
