Craniofacial Foundation Of America To Host "Palate 2 Palette" Event posted March 12, 2008 The Craniofacial Foundation of America, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with facial deformities lead normal lives, is sponsoring “Palate 2 Palette” on April 5, beginning at 5 p.m. Tickets are available at $50 per person. “Palate 2 Palette” is an evening dedicated to celebrating the arts in Chattanooga’s Southside. Guests may stroll or ride the trolley to visit seven area galleries and an exclusive after-party while enjoying beautiful works of art, fine wine, cuisine and floral designs. Each of the galleries will be paired with a restaurant/caterer and a District Three Garden Club or Master Gardener. Participants will tour the following galleries while indulging in Chattanooga’s finest cuisine and wine: Taste: Niko’s Southside Grill Tour: Gallery 1401 Taste: Food Works Tour: Morgan Adams Building Taste: Greenlife Tour: CreateHere Taste: Taste of Main Tour: Loose Cannon Gallery Taste: St. John’s/ Meeting Place Tour: Thomas Mann Taste: Blue Orleans Tour: Ignis Glass Taste: Hiroshi’s After touring the galleries, guests are invited to the “Bubbles & Sweets” after-party at the Loose Cannon Gallery from 8-10 p.m. The party will include French champagne, desserts by Connoisseur Catering and the music of Willie Kitchens. The gallery tour will feature independent artists Brent Sanders, Mia Bergeron, Jan Chenoweth, John Petry, Cessna Decosimo, Billy Parker, Roses Taylor and Wendy Adams. The Craniofacial Foundation of America, established in 1989, provides financial assistance for food, travel, and lodging expenses to qualified families traveling to the Tennessee Craniofacial Center for evaluation and treatment. Patients and their families take advantage of CFA’s educational information on craniofacial anomalies as well as networking opportunities on the rights of those with facial disfigurement. The Tennessee Craniofacial Center, part of the Erlanger Health System, is located in Chattanooga. The Center, led Larry A. Sargent, M.D., specializes in the evaluation and treatment of patients of all ages with craniofacial deformities.
