After legendary careers, with numerous hit songs of their own, Randy Bachman of Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Burton Cummings of The Guess Who are performing together. They will play at Riverbend on closing night, Saturday, June 14, at 9:30 p.m.
Just a few of Bachman’s hits include: “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet’”, “Takin Care Of Business” and “Let It Ride”. Cummings is known for his Guess Who hits: “These Eyes”, “American Woman”, “She’s Come Undun”, “No Sugar Tonight” and many more.
Galactic will bring their trademark New Orleans Funk and hip hop fusion to Riverbend Saturday, June 14, on the Bud Light Stage. Galactic has developed a large following, due to their dynamic shows and unique style, which incorporates elements of hip hop, electronica, fusion and jazz.
The Greencards are an acoustic music phenomenon that's played around the world, headlined major festivals, won awards, and toured with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. They will play at Riverbend Friday, June 13th at 9:15pm on the Tennessee Valley Credit Union Stage.
Previously announced Riverbend 2008 artists include ZZ TOP, The Black Crowes, Josh Turner, Little Big Town, Rodney Atkins, Anthony Hamilton, AMERICA with the Chattanooga Symphony, Mercy Me, The Ohio Players, Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, Joe Bonamassa, Railroad Earth and David Bromberg.
