John Pearson Lee Jr., 90, died on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in a local hospital.
Mr. Lee was born September 28, 1917, son of the late John P. Lee Sr. and Lucia A. Hudson Lee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during WWII. During the military, he attended CIC in Maryland and spent most of his service at Martin & Lockheed.
He retired from the city of Chattanooga as an accountant and was a member of the Chattanooga First Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was also preceded in death by his brother and sister.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen Marie Conner Lee, Collegedale; nephew, John H. Lee, Dallas, Ga.; and niece, Vickie Miller, Winston Salem, N.C.
Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Chattanooga First Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The family will receive friends from 4:45-5:30 p.m. on Saturday at the church. Private graveside services will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
