St. Barnabas Hosts Governor Bredesen Town Meeting
Governor and panelists to discuss long-term care waiver program
posted March 21, 2008

Governor Phil Bredesen will talk about The Long-Term Care Community Choices Act of 2008 at the St. Barnabas new skilled nursing facility on Siskin Drive, on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

The town meeting, which includes Gov. Bredesen and more than 15 panelists, will discuss how the waiver program will transform Tennessee’s approach to long-term care.

“St. Barnabas is uniquely poised to accommodate the waiver program with services that facilitate choices and transitions between our dual campuses,” said Eric Boston, president and CEO. “Our objective is to assist independence to the highest possible level.”
