TWRA Contraband Sale
Saturday, April 12th - Hamilton County Courthouse
posted March 23, 2008

TWRA Wildlife Officer Matt Majors say they will conduct a sale of Contraband Items in Hamilton County on Saturday April 12th at 10:00 am at the Hamilton County Courthouse.

Anyone is invited to come and bid, however persons must pay with cash at the time of the sale.

Majors said, "To my understanding, this will be the final sale in Hamilton County of contraband items. Historically we have sold all contraband items statewide at the county courthouse in which they were declared contraband by a judge. Under a new procedure, all contraband items will be sold in Nashville in the future. I am not certain of all the details of future sales but inquires can be directed to the TWRA Law-Enforcement Division office at 615-781-6500."

Here are a list of items for sale:

1 - Marlin 30-30 Rifle with a Nikon Scope

2 - Stevens Model 46 .22 caliber rifle blued with brown stock

3 - Ugly Stick Fishing Rod and Shakespear reel

4 - Gorilla Brand Climbing tree stand

5- (2) Moultrie brand digital trail cameras
